The Study

Pons Aelius, the bridge Hadrian built across the Tiber, at golden hour. The stone arches hold still while the water and the light move on beneath them.

A study in permanence and change, and a quiet nod to the Stoics: build well, then let the river do what rivers do.

Original photograph by Kali Safwat, taken in Rome. Transformed into a sketch study with Google Gemini (AI), then selected, edited and prepared for print by the artist.
