THE SPECIMEN

Rendered in a fluid, sepia-toned wash that mimics the haze of memory, The Confidante captures the specific, heavy gravity of a listener who cannot speak, yet understands everything.

Draped in domestic textiles reimagined here as a senatorial toga, the subject exudes a patience that borders on the patronising. She is the keeper of household secrets. She has heard your drafts, witnessed your unstructured weekends, and observed your dietary lapses without comment. This study focuses on the eyes—alert, empathetic, yet distinctly non-judgmental—reminding the viewer that true loyalty is silent.

THE ARTEFACT

A large-format study designed for the intellectual interior. The wash-style illustration allows for a looseness that feels immediate and organic, contrasting with the sharp, catalogue-style typography of the Archive collection.
