The Study
Paris, split by the Seine. On one bank, heavy stonework from the Napoleonic era. On the other, modern cranes reaching into the sky. Between them, the water keeps moving, as it always has.
Panta rhei, said Heraclitus: everything flows. Empires build, cities rebuild, and the river carries on without asking anyone's opinion.
The Process
Original photograph by Kali Safwat, taken in Paris. Transformed into a sketch study with Google Gemini (AI), then selected, edited and prepared for print by the artist.
