THE ARCHIVE | Limited Edition Studies A CURATED INDEX OF OBSERVATION.

The Concept "The screen is fleeting. The archive is permanent."

This is INDEX 01. The Archive stands as the permanent repository for Atelier INDEX's limited edition works. These pieces function as visual studies—synthesising photography, digital intervention, and memory to capture specific moments of stillness in a chaotic world.

The Study Pons Aelius (The Bridge of Hadrian). A study in permanence versus flux. This piece reconstructs a specific memory of the Tiber River at the golden hour. The ink work delineates the Stoic reality of Roman architecture, while the watercolor wash captures the ephemeral nature of the light. It is a visual anchor: the bridge stands rigid, while the water flows away.

The Materiality (Museum Grade) We produce every acquisition on heavy Hahnemühle German Etching (310gsm) paper using archival pigment inks.

  • The Weight: 310gsm. This is not paper; it is a velvety, mould-made board.

  • The Texture: The distinct "etched" surface holds ink deep within its fibers, giving the image a three-dimensional gravity that screens cannot replicate.

  • Longevity: 100+ Years (Archival Standards).

The Rules of the Archive

  • Strictly Limited: Edition capped at 10 physical artefacts.

  • Closed Edition: Upon the acquisition of the final edition (10/10), we permanently retire the master file. It will never be reprinted.

  • Provenance: Includes a limited edition Certificate of Authenticity (numbered and hologram-verified) to guarantee the value of the artefact.

  • Signature: Artist's signature is reproduced from the original sketch; authenticity is secured via the accompanying certificate.

Shipping & Sustainability

  • Carbon Neutral: Produced and shipped via carbon-neutral processes.

  • Packaging: Shipped in robust, sustainable packaging (reinforced architectural tubes or rigid envelopes) designed to protect the museum-grade paper during transit.
